Greetings everyone!

It is only through the mercy and love of Christ that we are able to announce the following:

1. a successful youth camp and sfc clp in Guatemala City, Guatemala, with one parish interested in taking on cfc and the family ministries.

2. the encountering of original sfc members in San Salvador, El Salvador and the successful meetings with 2 parishes who are open to having cfc in the near future.

3. a succesful youth camp and sfc clp in Tegucigalpa, Honduras and 3 parishes who want cfc to be started there.

i'd like to honor those whose service contributed greatly to the mission:

CFC Costa Rica, whose years of faithful service to the Lord have left an impression on several Franciscan Friars in Costa Rica...who have since been reassigned to El Salvador and Honduras. When Matrimonios Para Cristo was mentioned, we were welcomed with open arms. they were then very open to starting the community in their parishes based on their observations of the cfc community in Costa Rica.

Tito Frank Padilla, CFC Spain and the rest of CFC Europe, whose service at the World Meeting of Families in Valencia impressed a Honduran priest so much, that if all goes well in his parish....it will be endorsed nationally, since he oversees all pastoral thrusts of couples and the family for all of Honduras.

CFC USA whose continued support of the missions allowed for the breakthroughs in these countries.

ALL members of the one body of CFC, whose prayer and fasting lead to the mission's ultimate success.

i pray we are reminded that this community is such a beautiful gift to us.

May the Lord continue to use us powefully.
