Teodora Launching

Last April 22nd of 2007 on a sunny 80 deg F. Houston sky, CFC Texas launched Teodora Ministry. Attended by around 150 members from CFC, HOLD, SFC & YFC the day was filled not only with smiling faces but expectant hearts oozing with curiosity of what was to happen. Scheduled to begin at 1:30 pm, brothers & sisters from different areas of TX (Dallas, Rio Grade Valley, Houston Chapters) started to arrive with the usual food to share & a warm hug to give a way. Amidst the influx of members was a lively worship songs being played by SFC music ministry. With walls & tables decorated & flowers (courtesy of MCG members & YFC) arranged so beautifully, one can't deny the spirit of festivity was really in the air.

Everybody just pitched in to make this Teodora launching a memorable one. Even KFC members had their fun time (thanks to KFC Coordinators) on the separate room while the adults were listening to the talks. Authentic Woman, Gifts of Motherhood & Threats to Motherhood.. .these were the focus of the talks that are geared to empower our women -- but to everybody's surprise the brothers enjoyed the talks as well :-). With our sister-speakers fleshing out the talks, the assembly was also captivated by the creatives delivered by sisters from CFC Houston North Chapter, HOLD & SFC. Special thanks also goes to our FTW in making the flow of the program quite a smooth one.

That day, God was really in the midst of the assembly. Everybody had a nice time during the fellowship and went home with joy in their hearts, enlightened & renewed. But before I end my short itsy-bitsy sharing, we would like to share the captured moments of that launching day:
